Alcohorexia and vigorexia
Besides the already known anorexia and bulimia nervosa are now eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOS), as alcohorexia, vigorexia, orthorexia and diabulimia. Explain each particular eating disorder and its consequences.
Alcohorexia: An eating disorder is to eat eat little or no alcohol day to night. While “alcohorexia” is not yet a formal medical term, and is considered by experts as a serious health problem. The consequences range from malnutrition to loss of protein and minerals, and even abdominal obesity, not to mention the high risk of alcohol without having eaten any food.
Vigorexia: It is a distinct disorder, is not strictly food but if you share the pathology of obsessive concern uan figure and distortion of body schema. It is an addiction to fitness that normally occurs in men who are obsessed to have a muscular body increasingly using excessive physical exercise. Moreover, often combined with the intake of anabolic steroids and, thus, creates serious health problems.
